Today is Joes birthday. Since it was also a work day we couldn't do to much. We will do more on Saturday.
After work, we had a little picnic at a hillside park.
We walked along some of the Bonneville shoreline trail and explored a narrow canyon:
We came around a corner and spooked two deer that were in the trail:
On the way home we stopped at the new Sub Zero Yogurt place by the house. We brought one home for Sarah too.
Joes gifts so far are a book and a new red Level. I would personally hate to get a Level for my birthday, but he seems happy about it.
So, on Saturday we will do a bit more on the birthday thing.
Happy Birthday Joe/dad..

Aaron graduated from B.Y.U. today. He received his Bachelors as a Computer Science major. He already has a very good job lined up.
The graduation for his group was in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom.

Susan even flew in from Az. (White sweater)

Good job Aaron!
Aaron with his sisters:
Girlfriend:
Susan just brought her youngest child.
We walked to the Talmage Bldg where our group was given a continental breakfast.
Along the way I visited the statue of Chief Massasoit. My dad is related to him.
Food!
This is in front of Karl Maeser Bldg.
Aaron often studied in here:
He spent many hours in the Honors reading room.
Private and quiet.

Aaron also had to move downstairs to a different apt. today. What a full day! We helped.
This evening we all went to the Spaghetti Factory.
We are so proud of our graduate!!!

Day after surgery
This surgery is a real miracle. Mom already has a little more energy and she isnt out of breath now.
Just before leaving ICU for a regular room:
I spent the day with them. In the evening both of my brothers stopped by. I have seen a lot of family the last couple of days.

Post Op
Mom had her Aortic valve replacement this morning. Her procedure began at 8:00 instead of the expected 7:30. She was out of surgery at 11:00 and sent to ICU.
Robin came from California yesterday by plane. She surprised us!
