Family party for Aaron and 'Y' Mountain (Day Three Of Three)

Party, Party, Party!
This evening was the Family Party for Aaron.
Some fun after a work day.
This was in their Provo condo.

All of those balloons have a picture of Aaron fastened to the end, from baby to age 29.
Each picture has the age written on the back of it.
He has pics to keep and balloons to play with. All good.

Food and cute decor:

Gifts:

The extra surprise (for all of us), was a climb up Y mountain:

All of the young people were patiently waiting for us:

Yay! We made it!!

I went 4 miles on a treadmill before this, so I definitely got my exercise for the day.
I need to work off more winter flab, so I can enjoy some summer hikes this year.

Aaron And Mothers Day (Day Two Of Three)

Aaron has always had to share his birthday with Mothers Day.
Yes, Mom and babe were in the hospital on Mothers Day, back in 1985.
Yesterday it rained all day, but today it was sunny.
We went to Storm Mountain for a picnic.

Cold water!!

He crossed back the same way.
He had cold feet!:

We played:

Tried to anyway:

When we got home, Aaron and Stef (with a little help) started planting their garden.
They have a corner of our yard.

Aaron is 30!, Day One Of Three

On Saturday we went to a Surprise party for Aaron that Stefani arranged. About 20 people came.
It was in Orem at a lovely home owned by a cousin of Stefani.
We understand that the original plans were for a park, but it rained all day.
I would say this party was enjoyable and a success.

This was just the beginning!

Arizona; Day Four Of Four (Monday)

On the morning of our last day (Monday), I went to our Hotel Fitness Center and walked a couple of miles on the treadmill.
Then Sue and Claire came to play in the pool with us again for a couple of hours.
Don't worry, the other kids did get a chance to play in the pool for awhile on Saturday before the baptism.

Sue got her kids out of school a little early and we went to lunch at a Taco place.
Ben joined us too. Unfortunately I managed to take that pic with a greasy lens (thank you taco).
He was dressed very nice for his work as a Doctor at the nearby hospital.
You will just have to take my word for it.

We went to the Arizona Science Center.
There were busloads of kids there on school field trips.

Sue took us straight to the airport from there.
We arrived home to a hour later time and cooler climate.
Arizona was great.
Thank you Dangerfield family!

Arizona; Day Three Of Four (Sunday)

We visited Susans Primary class.
It was fun to see what she does, instead of just hearing about it.

Working on a Maze:

In the evening we had Chicken Curry for dinner.
Then we played games.
Aarons sister-in-law, Charyse, was in the area that week and stopped in to join us.
She is fun and fits right in.

Arizona: Day Two Of Four (Saturday)

Our grand-daughter, Rebecca had her baptism on Saturday, May 2nd.
It was an honor to be there.

We are proud of Rebecca!
We are proud of all our grand-children.

Arizona: Day One Of Four (Friday)

Ben provided this weekend for us.
We are so grateful!!!!

We stayed at luxurious Chibola Vista Resort and Spa.
Friday morning and afternoon were spent around the pool.
Sue came with Claire.
The other kids had to go to school.

In the evening the adults went to the Botanical Gardens, while all of the kids stayed with a babysitter.

Dove in a nest:

Ben took us to dinner at a Restaurant in the Gardens.
It was luxurious:
