The sun was setting, but we got in another good hour walk. We had a chance to explore the children's garden this time. There is so much there: a splash park with a Noah's Ark. Of course the water isn't turned on yet. It's still crazy Spring weather here . A bear cave with a huge bear sculpture inside, and there's a recording of a bear growling. There are actually several very nice bronze animal sculptures around.
We walked around in a maze. We meandered all about on a path lined with bushes. It was really well done. There's a playhouse, an art sculpture that kids can climb through; little waterfalls and a pond; and several activity buildings that were closed.
It was getting to dark by then to get any good pictures, but next time I'm down there I'll take a couple. The Noah ark is pretty neat.

That's a nice picture of you mom - and very pretty surroundings. I'm so excited to come visit in a couple of weeks! It'll be nice to have some adult company! :)
This was really fun. We walked around the paths all the while a band was playing in the amphitheater. I'm not sure who they were or if there were any good, as only 10 or so people appeared to be listening to them.
I do know that there is some kind of activity every Monday night through the summer.
The Children's Area is so cool, I even went into the little tower where is a ladder to the second floor, Lesa thought (once again) that I was acting like a goof ball, which I ignored, like usual!
