Our Park

If you're looking for my 'Halloween preparations' post, that would be the one before this.
This just shows our local park. We enjoy the simple life, which means we go on lots of walks and appreciate sunsets and scenery.
We go up to this park quite often for easy evening strolls.

There's a horse trail that connects to the park and it has nice views of the mountains. The first section is very easy, but if a person wants to get a good hard workout, all they have to do is follow it down into the gully.

The playground area:

It's even better in the mountains there behind the park.

I'm just about to leave for mutual, but I noticed a new post from you. I do love that park - that's one place I wish we would have gone to while I was up - just not enough time! The leaves really are starting to change now.. how lovely!

Granite Park is a gem, many a stroll around these paths. And Dimple Dell can be a beast in the summer, I recall almost dying one July day, thanks to Sarah for pulling her dad to safety as the temps were in the 110's.
