Today we got together with some members of our family to do Temple work for my younger sister, Laurie.
My husband and I rode up to Ogden from Salt Lake City with my parents. It's a very nice day today. I love it when the sky is blue and the weather is warm.
Afterwards we drove to the Maddox restaurant in Brigham. This is a popular place to eat. They have great food there.
As usual I snapped a lot of random pictures; People put up with me.
Here we are waiting for a table; from left to right; Debera (sister), Mom, Robin (sister), Stacey (sister in law) and Bradly (brother). Robin flew in from Los Angeles to participate. It was so good to see her, however brief.
Stephanie (Debs daughter) joined us at the restaurant. Dad, Dave (Deberas husband)
Debera has a grand daughter in her lap;
The good part of waiting for a table, is that we got to visit more;
Looking over the menu; by now we were sure ready to eat!
Dad paid for everybody!! Thanks Dad!!
I had Shrimp cocktail (they were very generous portions). I also had Salmon, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and hot rolls. The restaurant makes their own rolls from scratch.
Some of us had to say goodbye to Robin after the meal. At least we got to see her for awhile.
On the way home with mom and dad, we stopped at one of the many fruit stands along that road. It's one of the few areas left in Utah where the orchards haven't been torn out for houses. Dad bought corn and peaches. Later he gave half the corn and several peaches to us! Wow, he's so nice!! They also gave me one more bucket of food storage.
Mom gave everyone that came today a nice book that was written by her friend (Rose Johnson-Tsosie) called Finding Helen, A Navajo Miracle. Rose wrote a personal note and signed each book.
I appreciate my family and it was a good day.

What a wonderful day you had with your family! That's great that so many were able to come.. especially Robin.
A most enjoyable day, great company and an all around joyful activity. It's great to be adopted into the Smith family
