Mount Nebo Loop

Today I went with Mom and Dad on a drive to Mount Nebo.

Utah Lake in the distance:

Mom and Dad in front of Mt. Nebo :

It was a warm, beautiful day:

Me with Mom:

We made a stop in Fountain Green. Mom wanted to see this lot. There was once a house here. When mom was about 10 years old, she and my grandma lived here for a winter. Her step dad brought them here to his parents home to stay while he looked for work. This was during the depression:

I took pictures of a few old houses that she remembered and had stories about. I'm not posting them all here though.
One of the places had this date posted over the doorway (Erected 1878):

We stopped at the Fairview museum. It's a very good museum for such a small town:

We finished our day by having dinner at the 'In N Out Burger' in Draper.  I love that place.
Dad drove a long way today! Thanks for a great day!!

What a fun adventure! That's funny that there were all those cows in the road. :) I've never heard of that museum, but sounds like it was nice! Wish I would have been there to hang out with you guys today :D

Wow, that's one great tour of Utah. The museum is great, I recall visiting last year, they have an outdoor area with a lot of old farming equipment. Nice that Grandpa was able to collect a bit of the fence as a memento.
