Trail Of Eagles (Joe's Birthday)

Today is Joes birthday. We woke to a cloudy and rainy day.
Our decision was 1) Stay home and be bored.  2) Face the storm.
Being silly keeps us young.



The foothills:

We climbed the hills to Bonneville trail. Then we walked South.
After looking at a view we doubled back to a little canyon:

This bridge had a Cougar warning posted on it.
Apparently cougars like to walk across it too:

We went up the Trail Of The Eagles.
We only went part way , because the rain was increasing:

By the time we got to the car we were soaked, but it was fun

Just for the record, we attended the Broadway play 'War Horse' at the Capitol Theater on Thursday.
